• Yellow Fever must be administered at least 10 days before your trip to issue a valid certificate
• Rabies and Hepatitis B often require multiple doses over 3–4 weeks
• Typhoid, DTP, Hepatitis A work best when given 2+ weeks ahead
• Some countries may deny entry without proof of vaccination
• Don’t Make These Common Mistakes:
• “I’m only going for a few days” – exposure happens quickly, especially with contaminated food or mosquito bites
• “I’ll get it at the airport” – most airports don’t offer travel vaccinations
• “My GP will sort it” – many NHS practices no longer offer travel jabs like Typhoid or Hepatitis A
